Birthday with Swine Flu
That's right my little Annabelle has Swine Flu. She has been sick for 1 week! We got her tested on Thursday. She seems to be turning the corner and feeling somewhat better. Be careful because the symptoms are so similar to the flu. Annabelle started Saturday night with a high fever that continued until Monday. She also was throwing up which finally pushed me to take her to the Doctor. Poor little thing has been sneezing and coughing all week. We carried the guestroom mattress down and have it in front of the T.V....talk about a CHILL WEEKEND.

Falling Waters
We took a trip to Falling Waters one of the famous Frank Lloyd Wright homes. It was really interesting to see and pretty amazing.. It is a nice day trip and I would recommend it if you live in the area. Although they don't permit little kids inside. They do have a "family area" for the little kids to hang. Here is the website for anyone is is interested...http://www.fallingwater.org/

My Man Turns the big 3-0!
For Brad's 30th Birthday we were able to spend the weekend up at Deep Creek. We had fun and relaxing weekend with Family :) Brad's Family met us up there and surprised him with a gun! Now he has two in his collection... all that is missing is a pink Walther P22. HAAAA. We had fun jet skiing and luckily met up with some family friends up there who so kindly gave us a nice boat ride. All of us went to dinner Saturday night (BYU GAME NIGHT) Well, I called twice beforehand to make sure that they were playing the BYU game and to make sure we could fit a table of ten right in front of the big screen. Well, long story short we got there.. got a V.I.P table and no they weren't playing the game!! Brad almost pooped is pants. So, Brad spent the rest of dinner glued to the I phone watching the game on a little field where is shows the football moving up and down the field. It was a huge BYU upset so I'm kinda glad he wasn't watching the blowout of the big screen. Anyways, the weekend was really nice. I'm so lucky to be married to such a studly 30 yr old. owww owww

Birthday Bash....How did I forget??
For some reason I thought I put Birthday Pics up..Thanks Amanda for the reminder :) We had an awesome Birthday Bash For Annabelle's 1st Birthday. Although let me just tell you that Bday #2 will not be so big and extravagant. Would it be wrong if I cut and paste my next girls face on Annabelle's 1st yrs party pics?? Do I really have to do it all again. Yes, I was a crazy first time parent here and went all out. If Brad did not not stop me, I would of rented a pony and bouncy inflatable play pen for the backyard. Come on you only turn one once!
My memories of the big day:
Catherine and I staying up till wee hours of the morning decorating..mommy on a ladder (very high ladder) at 2am... We got back from Mexico late Saturday night.. party was Sunday.
Brad making his famous CAFE RIO burritos. They taste just like the real thing. So good!!!
My mom walking into the house with the cake that I designed. It looked just like I imagined. She drove an hour with it on her lap. I love her.
Annabelle walking around in her pink party dress with the fluffiest lacey pink socks I have ever seen. Pointing at all of the balloons in shock.
30 people at our house all here for Annabelle :) I love family and friends so close.
Annabelle's face when the chocolate came out of the pinata. Her little hands grabbing by the handful. Her face when she opened her present from Brad.. her favorite Reeces!!!!
Annabelle, Brad and I after the party taking a walk around the neighborhood in her new blue car. Her honking and waving the whole time in her little pink party dress.
Happy Birthday my SWEET ANNABELLE.

Love D.C, Concerts, and Picnics...
A week ago we went Down to D.C for the free summer concerts at the Capital building. Brad's family packed an awesome picnic and we ate it on the lawn before the show. Catherine came with us too :) It wasn't crowded at all and the weather was perfect! It was a real fun night. It's a definite must do for next summer.

Mexico
We were able to spend a week in Mexico with Brad's familia. It was 10 big people and 11 including Annabelle :) Since I forgot my journal on the trip, I will kill two birds with one stone and blog about it!! Here are the highlights from the trip....
Annabelle's first ride on a plane. We were lucky enough to have the whole row to ourselves there and back. She was playing peeka boo with the seat in front of her (so cute) I had a million snacks for her that she went through pretty fast. She loved looking out the windows and listening to Brad's zune. Amazing on the plane!
We rented a huge 12 passenger van for the first few days...Family Fun! Annabelle loved it because she had no car seat
The hotel had some awesome pools! The water slide was Annabelle's favorite. Brad and I took her down tons of times and right after she would point cause she wanted another ride. Brad even followed us down the slide a few times with the video camera.. wow can we say first time parents??
We went to the ruins in Mexico... really cool. Had a good time walking in the dead of heat with Brad trying to use my spanish/spanglish trying to buy little things from the vendors.
We ate at an Argentine restaurant in memory of Brad's bro Max who is leaving next month to Argentina for his mission. The food was AMAZING! Although, they rip you off by charging you $5.00 for a little bottle water (they didn't tell us till the check came) We all had at least 2 :(
Brad and I the first night put Annabelle down and went for a night swim in the infinity pool. The ocean was right there and it was beautiful. The pool looks like it goes on forever. Romantic night :)
Annabelle loved the water and jumping the waves. Brad and I went hotel pool hopping one day but really loved chilling the hotel pool. I loved the blue blue water!!! Very fun trip.. here our some pics.....

Blogging from Mexico
I'm actually blogging from Mexico right now ;) I'm taking a break from the sun for a bit. Brad and I have been able to spend this week with his family in Cancun ... all 11 of us! It has been so much fun and such a relaxing week. We are staying at this really fun hotel.. pictured below :) Well, this post will not be long...since I am on Vacation. Most vacations I'm sad to go home and face reality and get back into the normal grind. This vacation is different, it is ending with a celebration! Annabelle's Birthday Party is kicking off the the day after we get back.
So, basically these have been the two things on my mind and keeping me pretty busy. I will post pics of Mexico and Annabelle's Bday bash soon!
