Blogging from Mexico

I'm actually blogging from Mexico right now ;) I'm taking a break from the sun for a bit. Brad and I have been able to spend this week with his family in Cancun ... all 11 of us! It has been so much fun and such a relaxing week. We are staying at this really fun hotel.. pictured below :) Well, this post will not be long...since I am on Vacation. Most vacations I'm sad to go home and face reality and get back into the normal grind. This vacation is different, it is ending with a celebration! Annabelle's Birthday Party is kicking off the the day after we get back.

So, basically these have been the two things on my mind and keeping me pretty busy. I will post pics of Mexico and Annabelle's Bday bash soon!

Walker!!!!

She's a walker!!! OK so Annabelle took her first steps at 10 1/2 months. She would just do a step or two and then crash to the floor. Then about 11 months we bribed her with chocolate and animal crackers and made her walk to us. Annabelle would do the funniest thing you have ever seen!!!..... after about 3 steps toward you.. she would just close her eyes and keep on walking several steps till she got to you. It was so hilarious to watch this wobble monster walk to you with her eyes closed!! hahaha Anyways, now she is walking much more for longer distances, with eyes open!

Hidden Treasures

OK, so I have been blogging a tad bit more lately. Sometimes I will get really into things and then drop them for a while... I guess that's how my relationship with blogging is. Another past time I have that seems to fad in and out of my life is Craigslist! Although, right now I have to admit I'm a big craigslist junkie!!!

No joke I have gotten some pretty sweet steals from the free section lately. When I have some free time I will take pictures of all the free treasures I have acquired these last few months :)

OK, now this hidden treasure couldn't wait... Since I have to put it away. Someone who lives less then 3 minutes away from me posted free food/stuff because they suddenly had to move. I drove over and waaaa laaa.. Free Food tons of good stuff, can food and more food for my home storage! I would say a good find.

So, I hope this inspires someone out there to look on Craigslist and become a junkie like me :) There are some really good finds out there and you wouldn't believe what people give away. Happy Hunting!

Take me out to the ball game!

We took Annabelle to her FIRST baseball game! We usually enjoy going to the new nationals stadium or downtown Baltimore.. but for her first game we stayed a little bit closer to home.. we saw the the Hagerstown Suns! haha much smaller park but still got the baseball feel.

We went with our friends the Ficklins, but the girls didn't quite make it to the fireworks at the end. My family used to go to the Frederick keys games which have fireworks also! It's a fun family activity if you live close bye.

This was after Annabelle's eye appointment. Her eyes are dilated and it's also the reason for her dark circles under her eyes. Annabelle has a clogged tear duct and it still hasn't cleared up. She will go to have surgery on it next month if it doesn't open up on its own. It's a very minor surgery but still kinda scary knowing she has to go under by an anesthesiologist.

Well, she had such a fun time in the bath...I'm so glad I had the camera near by!! She was so cute and just started giggling like crazy. I love Annabelle's darling personality. She makes me so happy when she smiles. I hope the video makes you smile too...

Cool Pool

Annabelle had so much fun at her swimming classes and loves the water!! We decided to get a pool for her this summer. It could even act as a big play pen this winter for her to play in... those days when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to keep an eye on her 24/7 (just kidding kinda) Well, Aunt Catherine was over and we had a lot of fun in the new pool! Brad is now Annabelle's and I cabana boy... We call him to bring out ice pops to us. Annabelle loves sucking the juice out and leaves me with just the ice :) Our Cabana boy also so kindly puts the umbrella up to block our sun. Summer days are so much fun!!

Fun With Green Beans!!!!

It's about time...

Ok, so for anyone who is still reads this thing... I have been torn about blogging. It's just to much to do between my journal, Annabelle's journal and gosh facebook is just so much faster to post pictures!! I'm going to give this world of blogging another try. This might become more of our Family Journal/ Family Log... We will see how it goes.

Well, the first "catch up" Blog entry has to be the River Pics! We love going to Dam #4 right by our house. Annabelle was to small to take out on the water last year... but this year we took her out! She doesn't look to happy in the pictures. The minute we put her life vest on she started screaming. I think due to the fact that she couldn't move her head or neck. Once the jet ski started moving she was fine.... no expression on her face at all! It was hilarious. I was just singing to her, hopeing she would have a possitive experience .

Another new Fisher thing is our new Bike Trailer!!! Annabelle and I go on bike rides all the time and Brad will join us on our evening bike ride. It's great I totally recommend it to anyone.

Cup Cakes... I Bakes

I threw a Baby Shower this week for my friend Jen. She is having Baby Boy #2!!!!! I was on a mission to make some cute cupcakes. I thought it would be a simple task. I started out my morning by surfing on the Internet for some cute ideas..... TWO HOURS LATER....

I was sooooo overwhelmed and had just so many ideas running through my head. I had looked through thousands of images of professional cup cakers. hahaha Brad finally talked me out of my "cupcake brain overload" He so kindly help me realize that this was my first cupcake decorating project and to just start out with the basics. I still do dream of becoming Ms. crafty cupcake.... but for now I'm still learning :)

I know this cake is really out of my league and I am just totally dreaming that mine will look anything like this. BUT I am going to attempt to make this baking beauty!!! I'm soooo excited to try this! I have four months to practice :)

Oh Sweet Sisters......The Sisters Suite

Yesterday I had ALL my sisters and my cute niece Kayla over for a girls day! It was so much fun chillin with the "Egan Girls" We had fun talking, dancing, making chocolate chip cookies....of course:) and watching oprah......need I say more!?!?!?. It has been a while since we have All been together. I love them so much and am so grateful for the different connections I have with each of them. They are all such sweethearts!!! There is something so cool about being with true friends who can just make you laugh harder than anyone else. Kayla and Annabelle are the two newest girls to add to this crazy bunch... What a fun day.....Oh sweet sisters!!!

I also am adding some pics of the "Sisters Suite" that has been in the works for a while. Some of the little projects I have been working on. This room is for my sisters (and Brad's two sisters) for when they come up her to visit me!!! It is there shabby chic getaway retreat :)

March Madness!!!!

I have not posted in FOREVER. I have been very busy do to some "march madness" I spent the first half of the month at the Parson's babysitting gig. My lovely sister Allison came home from her mission!!!! I hosted a Relief Society Dinner at my house and decorated 2 out of the 5 tables...(pink and black of course!!!) I bought Annabelle her new Highchair (which she LOVES and has fun just sitting in it for a long time!!!) I've started to prepare for my garden. If anyone has any tips on what grows really well, let me know :) Any other free time I have had is feeling out my brackets, and watching the games...

I had hoped for some warmer weather for march... I'm happy Annabelle is finally sleeping in her crib, growing hair, and is crawling... (FORWARD) :) Annabelle also had her first date this month!!! Her first daddy daughter date..... her and Brad went to Chipotle to share a burrito. Brad even got a little side order of carnitas for Annabelle :) Annabelle loves burritos and WE LOVE HER!!!
