A little nesting here... A little nesting there

Well, I'm getting so excited for baby to come!!!! I cant' believe how fast the time is going, but yet July seems like it will never come. Since I can't do much while she is still in my belly, I have had some fun planning the room our new little arrival will be chillin in :) I finally decided on the crib, (moment of silence for all you crib makers out there... cribs are way to over priced, I mean c'mon) I finalized on her bedding (sweet and elegant with a tint of shabby chic :) I actually found the bedding and room idea from this designer to the stars, Wendy Bellissimo... If your looking for room ideas, check out her video clips on her website!!! http://wendybellissimo/ She has some really cute stuff :) Well, the crib will take 14 weeks to get here!! If you ask me I could go chop the tree down and make the furniture faster myself! ... but oh well. I have to wait 9 months for baby girl to come, it won't kill me to wait 14 weeks. Now that I have finally decided on which room to put her in... I have hung a few outfits in her closet :) The outfits so far include some my mom and I bought last year... (can you say baby hungry) Also, my cool mother in law brought me home the the most darling outfit and sandals from her travels from Central America!! Brad's mom was also kind enough to buy her favorite grandchild a bassinet!!! I was sooo excited, I made brad put it together that night!! Right now it's just in our room, sometimes I walk past it and look inside and think "wow, soon there will be a little baby inside there" So, I'm a dork and took pictures of us putting together our "first bassinet" So fun!!!! hahahah

Brad looks like he's caught in the act!!! Like "She made me do it"
Takes a lot of skills to put those bears on.....
The proud mama with the finished product.... Thanks Cindy!!!

The Yellow Beauty

Well, until now our yard was nothing but uneven dirt piles, and since its been raining so much a few "mud swimming pools" I guess its finally warming up enough, that they decided to plant bushes in the front (which have already started to sprout pink flowers :) We also have two trees planted in our yard now..there small little guys. Brad told me what they were, but I already forgot! All i know is one has blossoms. Our front and backyard have been seeded and currently have hay all over top. Since our new yard is up and running.....Brad and I ventured out to Wal-mart to buy our first hose :) I know our neighbors will be coveting my new bright yellow beauty (the hose). Hands off ladies its all mine!!! Well, I took some random pictures of our new adventures watering our very first yard!!! I know kinda boring... but hey what else do I blog about before baby comes :)

Baby Rooms

Ok, I have had way to much fun looking at baby rooms!!! I have always loved shopping... but shopping for "baby" brings shopping to a whole new level :) Not like I can afford or need half the stuff I look at.... but its just so FUN I can't help myself. At this point in my life I realize that I want to learn how to sew!!! Yes, that is right, I just announced a new hobby that I plan to pick up. I really want to make some sort of quilt/blanket for my new baby girl :) I know sewing takes years to master, but a baby quilt is a perfect place to start. Ok so these are some of the baby rooms that I LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!!

Easter Dinner

Well, we were able to have my family up for Easter Dinner! Unfortunately we were so busy, we did not have much time to take photos. I have to give props to my mom and my amazing mother in law who can pull off feeding large crowds with their eyes practically closed. I hope one day to entertain large crowds and be the betty crocker/marth stewart type of mom :) It actually takes some talent to make sure that all the courses are hot and ready to be served at the right time! I do have to thank my studly husband Brad who impressed us all with the main course!!! He made his famous tilapia with his butter cream sauce....soooooo good.

There is the master chef contemplating the recipe

Mark and Brad throwing it down, and showing that fish who was boss

Of course I did was busy baking also. I was busy making my famous raspberry chocolate cheesecake and this Strawberry Pretzel cream cheese thing... its intense and is not always fail proof. One day I hope to conquer that dang recipe. I also had fun setting up the table, and getting my pink on :)
